Originally introduced to the market in 1996 as a full-flavoured tribute to the countless generations of men and women that have cultivated tobacco in the world famous plantations of Pinar del Rio, the brand was relaunched in 2013 with a new medium-to-full bodied blend, new sizes and presented in unique tins of 16 cigars.
Vegueros translates into English as ‘Farmers’ and these cigars have happily maintained their rustic edge. The names of each the new vitolas have also taken inspiration from the Cuban farmers’ vocabulary.
All its cigars are rolled at the "Francisco Donatien" factory, in the centre of Pinar del Rio city and all sizes of Vegueros are ‘tripa larga, totalmente a mano,’ – long filler, totally handmade.
