Havana Cigar Exchange - Worldwide Shipping of Cuban Cigars
About this cigar: Quai d’Orsay was established in 1973 and originally aimed at the French market. It was named after an avenue in Paris that once housed the headquarters of SEITA, the former French tobacco company.
Following Quai D’Orsay’s 2017 relaunch, and the subsequent introduction of the No.50 and No.54, the No.52 has been a much anticipated addition to the brand. It is an entirely new size within the Habanos portfolio, known as a Lanza (Lance in English).

About this cigar: Originally created in the 1970s exclusively for the French market, the original Quai D’Orsay brand was available in a limited range of sizes and was known for its mild to medium-bodied profile. However, the Cuban cigar monopoly has since relaunched Quai D’Orsay as a global brand, complete with a redesigned band and box, two new thicker vitolas, and a reblended blend, resulting in a more flavorful and nuanced smoke. Despite these changes, the Quai D’Orsay No. 54 maintains its subtlety and refinement, delivering a delightful combination of sweetness and savoury notes reminiscent of a salted caramel praline.
